Special Opportunities

Bourne Capital have established their own Special Opportunities Fund to strengthen relationships with major Banks, Institutions, and Joint Venture Partners by co-investing in opportunities in order to restore value in the short term and increase value for the Partnership in the medium term.

1. In depth appraisal of under performing asset by our Special Opportunities Team
2. Presentation and proposal for a ‘work out’ or joint venture dependant upon owners circumstances
3. Bourne Capital’s Fund will invest in the asset on a ‘side by side’ basis, or structure a mezzanine investment arrangement or joint venture
4. The asset’s income is maximized through active management and
sophisticated marketing
5. Value is enhanced in the short to medium term through the planning
process
6. Development value and planning consents are maximised

Our established management teams in London and France have unique experience and a track record of generating the higher incomes necessary to ensure financial stability in times of uncertainty.

The Chairman, Robert Bourne is personally spearheading the Special Opportunities initiative, together with a specialist team from Bourne Capital’s senior management, supported by top industry professionals. The Special Opportunities Team appraises under performing assets held by banks and institutions, either individually or by portfolio.

Bourne Capital’s Special Opportunities Fund will invest as principals ‘side by side’ with Institutions and Joint Venture Partners to restore value and ensure the success of investments. This formula is intended to avoid the bank or owner suffering losses through forced sales in a difficult market.

This applies to both property and leisure assets, as has been demonstrated by the success of Bourne Capital’s portfolio since inception. All parties benefit through the active ‘work out’ process. Evidence of Bourne Capital’s financial track record and details of our specialist management and professional team are available to prospective partners.
